WEDGE WIRE SCREEN CONSTRUCTION
The wedge wire screen is created by wrapping a profile wire cylindrical around longitudinal placed support rods. All wires and rods are resistance welded at each point of contact. The numerous combinations of profile wires and support rods (see table), and the wide range of apertures between the wires and rods (fixed or variable) allows us to design a screen according your technical or cosmetic specification.
Flat panels Flat panels can be created by opening and flattening cylindrical screens or are produced directly as a flat welded screen.
Flat welded panels with a perfectly flat and smooth surface and wire and rods being rectangular. Dimensions: - maximum profile wire length of 2000 mm - maximum support rod length of 4000 mm - standard spacing between the support rods of: 25,50,75,100 up to 300 mm and more
Flat panels made from cylinders can be manufactured with a very narrow rod spacing and a slot opening down to 0,03 mm. Dimensions: - maximum profile wire length of 2800 mm - maximum support rod length of 4500 mm
Cylinders Cylinders available directly from the wrapping machine: - External circumferential wire OD 22 to 914 mm, slot from 0,03 mm (plaatje) - External inverted circumferential wire OD 22 to 914 mm, slot from 0,05 mm (plaatje) - Internal axial wire, OD 50 to 290 mm, slot from 0,25 mm (plaatje)
Re-rolled cylinders Cylinders only available after re-rolling: - Internal axial wire wire, from OD 80 mm, slot from 0,025 mm (plaatje) - Internal circumferential wire, from OD 100 mm, slot from 0,05 mm (plaatje) - External axial wire, from OD 100 mm, slot from 0,05 mm (plaatje) - External inverted axial wire, from OD 100 mm, slot from 0,05 mm (plaatje)
